Renting of Historic Spaces
To offer the experience of using historic spaces within the Galle Fort, the Galle Heritage Foundation rent out the spaces such as the lower terraces of the Moon Bastion, Sun Bastion, Star Bastion and the Black Fort for limited public and private functions (such as for weddings, classical musical programs etc.) on request. Please contact the office of the Galle Heritage Foundation for more details.
The general conditions and the rates for renting are as follows:
Project proposals regarding promoting Ancestral Heritage tourism and Classical Music event programs must be submitted to Department of Archeology and Galle Heritage Foundation. Permit issued by Department of Archeology concerning the Project proposal must obtained prior to filling the application issued by Galle Heritage Foundation.
